New Zealand Cricket has confirmed the 2025/26 Super Smash schedule, with Auckland set to host five home double headers — all in January — at Kennards Hire Community Oval.
After last season’s disruption, which saw two match days moved due to concerts at Eden Park, this year marks a welcome return to a full, uninterrupted home schedule.
Eden Park will stage two of the match days on public holidays, including the now-traditional Auckland Anniversary Day on 26 January. Last year’s Anniversary Day fixtures drew bumper crowds, with attendance topping 3,000.
The ACES and HEARTS will also be involved in the opening of the competition, once again playing away matches on Boxing Day, this time against Northern Brave at Seddon Park.
Super Smash tickets and 2025/26 season memberships will be available in the coming weeks.
