A wily left-arm orthodox spinner who has the ability to outfox batters, Louis Delport emerged as one of the country’s standout slow bowlers in the 2023/24 Super Smash and was a major component in the ACES’ title win. Utilised in the middle overs after top order damage is inflicted by Lister and Ferns, Delport strangled opposition run rates, leading to false strokes and regular wickets.

Equally important in longer format cricket, Delport's wilyness has been a key factor in the ACES' Ford Trophy success in the last two seasons, as his career run rate of just 4.6 attests to. Delport is also known for his signature celebrations and has a supporters movement called the Louis Delport Celebration Appreciation Society (LDCAS).
