An important cog in the ACES’ wheel, Danru Ferns has become the leader of the pace attack in the last few seasons. He was the standout player in both the 2023/24 Super Smash campaign, with a table-topping 18 wickets at 14.22 and an incredible strike rate of 11.33. He followed that up the following season with 14 wickets at 15.71 and a strike rate of 11.92.

A fast medium bowler who rushes the batters into false strokes with heavy, back-of-a-length bowling and clever change-ups, Ferns' stocks have also risen in the longer formats with both of his First Class five wicket bags coming in the last two seasons.
