A consistent performer who's waited patiently for chances to represent the ACES in his fledgling career, Angus Olliver may now be near the top of the pace bowling heirarchy after the departure of Danru Ferns and a handful of solid performances up his sleeve.
Olliver's debut season in 2023/24 saw a number of successful returns in the Ford Trophy as the ACES almost took out the national title. The following season he was one of their most consistent bowlers in the Super Smash.
A larger-than-life character, Olliver is headed towards cult status amongst Auckland fans and with the absence of a certain Louis Delport this season, he may now be biggest and boldest personality in the Auckland lineup. Expect him to step up to the plate in 2025/26!
