Auckland Cricket is proud to celebrate a strong contingent of officials named in New Zealand Cricket’s (NZC) Match Official Panels for the 2025/26 season.
Leading the way is Tina Semmens, who has been appointed to the ICC International Panel of Umpires following her international debut last summer. Semmens becomes just the second New Zealand woman ever to earn this honour, joining fellow panel member Kim Cotton, and will also continue her role on the NZC Emerging Women’s Umpire Panel.
She is joined by three Auckland umpires on the NZC G.J. Gardner Homes National Umpire Panel: Chris Brown, Wayne Knights (both International Panel Umpires eligible for white-ball internationals), and the experienced Billy Bowden.
On the NZC Match Referee Panel, Auckland is again well represented with Sue Morris and former BLACKCAP Gary Troup continuing in their roles at the top domestic level.
Auckland also remains a powerhouse in the scoring ranks, with Michael Anderson, Annette Campbell, and Chris McQuaid confirmed on the National Scorer Panel, while Erica Knights and Liam Du Burgess have been named to the Reserve Scorer Panel.
At a regional level, Auckland’s umpiring panel for 2025/26 features:
Yogi Bhogle, Jim Birchall, Vince Calabro, Satish Ippa, Vinit Mahna, Manu Mohan, Bhavin Parshottam, and Allen Stanley.
NZC Head of Match Officials Andrew Duncan congratulated all appointees, noting the skill, experience, and depth across the panels.
Auckland Cricket congratulates all of our appointed officials on their achievements and looks forward to seeing them play a key role in maintaining the integrity and quality of the game throughout the 2025/26 season.
