This Thursday, 23rd January, cricket fans are in for a treat as the HEARTS and ACES take on Otago in a thrilling double-header at Kennards Hire Community Oval, Eden Park. The day starts with the HEARTS facing the Otago Sparks at 12:40 PM. Despite a tough loss earlier in the week against the Blaze, the HEARTS are determined to get their campaign back on track. While Brooke Halliday remains sidelined with injury, the team is focused and ready to deliver a strong performance against the Sparks. The last time the two teams played in Alexandra, the Sparks got the win. 

Later, at 4:25 PM, the ACES square off against the Otago Volts. The ACES are coming off a dominant win against the Firebirds in Wellington, highlighted by a record-breaking opening partnership from Martin Guptill and Simon Keene. Though Guptill is unavailable due to injury, the squad has been bolstered by the inclusion of in-form BLACKCAP Mark Chapman, fresh off a gritty 81 against Sri Lanka. The ACES will look to maintain their momentum and put on another thrilling display, after their first game against the Volts was a washout in December.
