Tomorrow, Monday 13th January, Seddon Park in Hamilton will host an exciting double header as the HEARTS and ACES take on the Northern Brave. The HEARTS will face the Brave Women at 12:40 PM, followed by the ACES squaring off against the Brave Men at 4:25 PM. Both games will be live on TVNZ’s Duke.

The HEARTS, coming off a tough loss against the Magicians, will be determined to get their campaign back on track. Cate Pedersen comes into the squad in place of Josie Penfold, who is unavailable. The team is eager to put in a strong performance and secure a vital win. The HEARTS will be feeling confident, after being in a strong position against the Brave (W) on Boxing Day before the rain washed out the match. 

The ACES are also looking to rebound after a hard-fought loss to the Kings in Christchurch. Unfortunately, they’ll be without Martin Guptill, who is sidelined due to injury. Mike Sclanders also makes way, with Louis Delport, Matt Gibsonand Riley Mudford joining the squad. Lachlan Stackpole, the 19-year-old who impressed on debut by opening the bowling and claiming his first professional wicket, retains his place in the squad. This will be the first time the ACES have faced the Brave (M) after not managing to get on the field due to rain in Round One on Boxing Day. 

With both teams ready to give it their all, tomorrow promises to be an exciting day of cricket at Seddon Park. Don’t miss the action as the HEARTS and ACES look to bounce back in style.
