Cornwall Cricket Club is seeking candidates for the role of General Manager with responsibility for leading and overseeing all day-to-day management and operational/financial matters.

Located at the picturesque Cornwall Park, the club currently boasts a membership of over 1200 and caters for players at all levels, from junior cricket through to business house, social teams and senior competitive teams. The club is proud to have nurtured the careers of many international players.

The General Manager leads a team of six, consisting of the Groundsman, Development Manager, Accounts Administrator, Bar Manager, Caterer and Trust Funds organizer. In addition, a large team of volunteers assists with match day activities and related elements.

Key duties will include:

• In conjunction with the Board, manage all planning and development activities
• Manage and lead sponsorship and marketing
• Manage all operational elements
• Lead all external relationships, including sponsors, Auckland Cricket etc.
• Financial management, from sourcing of funds through to implementation of expenditure, with the aim of producing best possible outcomes for the club

We are seeking strong planning and implementation skills, the ability to relate professionally with all internal and external stakeholders, and a genuine passion for the key role that sport plays in developing great communities.
