Get ready for an action-packed Auckland Anniversary Day as the HEARTS and ACES take on Wellington's Blaze and Firebirds in a thrilling double header tomorrow, Monday 27th January, at Eden Park's Kennards Hire Community Oval. Due to popular demand, this is Retro Round: The Sequel, where players will bring retro vibes by wearing their extremely popular retro playing kits.

Please note the swap in game times for this round: the ACES will face the Firebirds at 12:40 PM, and the HEARTS will play the Blaze at 4:50 PM.

Both teams are coming off impressive home victories against Otago's Volts and Sparks, and they're determined to keep the momentum going as they push for finals qualification.

The HEARTS are riding high after a clinical performance against the Sparks, highlighted by stellar batting displays from Maddy Green and Lauren Down. The duo anchored the innings beautifully, and the team will once again look to their experience and class to lead the charge against a strong Blaze side.

The ACES delivered a dominant performance against the Volts, thanks in part to an explosive innings from skipper Sean Solia, who made a seamless transition to opening the batting. However, they will be without BLACKCAP Mark Chapmanand veteran Martin Guptill, who are unavailable due to injury. The squad will need to rally together to overcome the Firebirds in this crucial encounter.
