
U19 Men Tournament, Lloyd Elsmore Park | 29 October – 19 November
TOURNAMENT SCORES
Kicking off the District Tournament early were the U19 Men who competed over the space of four Sundays. With the final two rounds, both T20 rounds, being abandoned, the boys managed three rounds of extremely high quality cricket with some particularly high scoring especially for early in the season! Credit must also go to the Lloyd Elsmore Ground staff for preparing some great surfaces.
In the end four of the six teams ended with two wins and a loss but it was the Western U19 Men who took out the competition with a superior run rate.

TOURNAMENT SCORES
Playing a more traditional weekday tournament, the U17 boys battled it out at Lloyd Elsmore in blustery and mild conditions. There were some superb performances across the week and the boys applied themselves admirably in some challenging conditions (especially for the bowlers).
Waitemata U17 came out on top after an unbeaten tournament with Eastern just behind them.

U17 Girls Tournament, Waikaraka Park | 18 – 20 December
TOURNAMENT SCORES
At Waikaraka Park, the U17 and U19 girls competed simultaneously in a great showcase of women’s cricket. Playing T20 matches, the U17 girls put on an entertaining three days and some very strong batting performances from Eastern in particular lit up the show.
Eastern were worthy winners in the end with four wins from four ensuring a top-of-the-table finish.

U19 Womens Tournament, Waikaraka Park | 18-21 December
We leave the best for last! The U19 women were the true stars of this year’s district tournaments with Waikaraka Park witnessing some incredibly close matches. Playing a day longer than the U17s with a mix of 40 over and T20 matches, our U19s put out a superb display of batting and bowling.
In the end North Harbour came out on top. The combined Waitemata/Tauraki U19 finished with 3 wins and a loss, just pipping Manukau on net run rate.
