South African born Shannen has made a big impact since her arrival on these shores.
Only one year out of Avondale College she has put together some big performances for both Auckland Secondary Schoolgirls and the Development side.
She was also instrumental in the U21 side marching to another title this year with her consistency at the top of the order.
An aggressive opening batter from the Waitakere City club, who bowls some very handy medium pace inswing, she's also an Auckland and New Zealand U19 rep in indoor cricket.
