Secondary School Cricket

Auckland Secondary Schools' Cricket Association

Secondary school cricket is administered in Auckland by College Sport - www.collegesport.co.nz - and governed by a school cricket committee called the Auckland Secondary Schools' Cricket Association (ASSCA).

The ASSCA Executive Committee meets monthly and comprises four zone overseers (west, east, north, south), a girls overseer, a secretary, chairman, president and the Game Development Manager from Auckland Cricket.  Auckland Cricket has a close relationship with the ASSCA, particularly as the Game Development Manager is currently the elected chairman, and supports their competitions in a number of ways.

The 2010 ASSCA Executive Committee is:

President: Peter Gall (ASSHA Rep / Papatoetoe HS)

Chairman: Kieran McMillan (Auckland Cricket)

Secretary: Simon Toon (Auckland Grammar)

Zone Overseers: Tony Sail (Mt Albert Grammar), Phil Berrill (Sacred Heart), Joe Cachopa (Westlake BHS), Roy Goodyear (Kings)

Girls Overseer: TBC
