One of the youngest players to ever represent the Hearts Lauren Down has a track record of playing above her age right throughout her career.
She has just completed Year 11 at Kristin College and has played all her cricket at East Coast Bays in boys teams until she debuted for the North East Premier Women's side two seasons ago.
She has had huge success at both Secondary Schoolgirls and Development level with Auckland and has now gone straight from the classroom into the Hearts starting line-up this season as an important part of their bowling unit.
