One of the best fielders in the game, Katie Perkins is a talent just waiting to be fully realised. An injury blighted 2008/09 meant that she was never at her best but this year could be the one that she really shines.
A solid top-middle order bat who is capable of working the ball around the ground extremely effectively, she is also dynamic between the wickets and very adapt at pacing an innings.
She, and her Hearts team-mates will be praying for an injury free season so she can really showcase her talent.
