Girls NZCT Tournament 2011

 The Girls NZCT competition has just reached the semi-finals stage with these two games and the final to be played early in Term 4, with both finalists going to the National tournament to represent Auckland.
The results from the quarterfinals played 31 March are as follows:
(1) St Cuthberts vs (8 ) Avondale - St Cuthberts won
(2) St Kentigern vs (7) MAGS - St Kentigerns won
(3) Diocesan vs (6) Baradene - Diocesan won
(4) Westlake vs (5) EGGS - Westlake won
The stand out performance was Anna Fraser playing for top seeds St Cuthberts. She hit an unbeaten 74 and then backed that up with 6/15, five of which were clean bowled to lead her side to a comfortable win and a match-up with Westlake in Term 4.
This means that semi finals to be played at a date to be confirmed, early in Term 4, will be as follows:
St Cuthberts vs Westlake
St Kentigern vs Diocesan
