Fielding Exercise - Throwing

 

Fielding drill

  • Keeper roles ball out in front of one person from group A
  • They pick up the ball and shy at sump 2
  • Group B backs up then shy's at stump 3
  • Group C then throws ball flat and on the full to wicket keeper
  • Players rotate in anti clockwise direction
  • Player from group B has to back up wicket keeper on next rotation on his/ her way to group A.
  • All players in each group should be backing up front person receiving the ball from the shy incase of misfield/ poor throw.
  • Once got hang of exercise introduce two balls.
  • Make sure everyone is alert and backing up
