It's the first home game of the season and what a perfect day Auckland turned on for it!
Colin Maiden Park was in great nick for the Aces first game on home turf and they returned the favour by making the most of conditions on day one. They might have been a bit disappointed by the final tally of 298 but three wickets in the last hour of the day meant that they finished well on top.
In the spirit of making everyone know exactly what they're missing out on as you sit in your office following the Aces online we got down to Colin Maiden and selflessly shot some footage of the Aces innings. No, honestly there's no need to thank us, it's the least we can do for you.
