Ravi Bopara bowling against Canterbury

The Auckland Aces will look to notch their first HRV Cup win in Wellington tomorrow with the same thirteen that faced the Canterbury Wizards on Monday.

The Aces will have to do without Blackcap Martin Guptill, who has still not recovered from his hamstring injury and was not considered for selection.

The Aces have had to deal with the disappointment of consecutive final over losses in their first two HRV Cup games, but it is a trend that suggests that wins are not far away.

Coach Paul Strang is confident that the team is ready to start a winning streak.

"It's just the little things that are letting us down at the moment, and winning those crucial moments in a twenty game which swing matches, but we're working on those and we've got the talent to make things happen."

The team to face the Wellington Firebirds in the capital tomorrow from 5pm is as follows:

Gareth Hopkins (Captain) (Parnell)
Colin de Grandhomme (Howick Pakuranga)
Lou Vincent (Takapuna)
Ravi Bopara (Overseas professional)
Scott Styris (Parnell)
Reece Young (Suburbs New Lynn)
Anaru Kitchen (Waitakere City)
Bhupinder Singh (Papatoetoe)
Ronnie Hira (Cornwall)
Daryl Tuffey (Suburbs New Lynn)
Michael Bates (Suburbs New Lynn)
Greg Morgan (Howick Pakuranga)
Richard Jones (North Shore)
