Eden Park plays host to decider

Brendan McCullum has been in brilliant form and hit 73 off just 36 balls in Napier
Just like the T20 series it’s going to go down to the wire in the one day matches between New Zealand and England and the good news is you can watch the crucial deciding game right here at Eden Park this Saturday.
A clinical batting performance squared the series last night for England and the Blackcaps will be wanting to put a few more runs on the board in Auckland to put the pressure back on what is a very powerful England batting line-up.
A Brendan McCullum onslaught energised the New Zealand innings and might have got the score close to 300 if he’d managed to stay in till the end. His form and Ross Taylor’s hundred were the big plusses from the Balckcaps batting in Napier and they’ll be looking for more from their two main men in Auckland.
The English looked much more like the second ranked one day side in the world that they currently are in Napier and will obviously be looking to maintain that momentum into the final match on Saturday.
The good news for the Blackcaps is that if the pattern of the tour so far continues then they’re in for a win at the weekend. It’s been turn and turn-about victories for either side thus far so it’s the New Zealanders turn on Saturday.
Needless to say they might not want to rely too heavily on that stat to claim the series for them. With a big crowd in prospect, a sunny day booked in the calendar and the Eden Park wicket bound to be full of runs it should be an absolute cracker of a game on Saturday!

The game starts at 2pm on Saturday with gates open from 12.30pm.
