One of the number of young Hearts players to have come through the highly successful Secondary Schoolgirls team of recent years Arlene has just completed Year 13 at St Mary's College.
She started her cricket at Papatoetoe and has come right through the grades playing cricket in boys teams before graduating to the Premier Women's team three years ago.
A true all-rounder Arlene can bat anywhere in the top order and is a highly accurate medium pace bowler.
